Established in 2009 the Savage Craic Climbing Club was founded by a group of individuals with a passion for spending time in the mountains. The club was born out of the need to build bridges between novice and experienced climbers and to provide a safe environment where new people can be introduced to climbing.

In the two years since it's inception the club has gone from strength to strength seeing many of it's members progressing from beginner to confident mountaineers, boulderers, trad and sports climbers.

The club aims to provide a forum where climbing related topics can be discussed openly and honestly and it provides its members with a network of individuals who are ever keen and always available to climb with one another. Regular climbing sessions and trips away are a constant feature of club activity and our open door policy to anyone with an interest in climbing means that our group is constantly growing and developing.

Most importantly it is a club for those with a passion for climbing and a desire to have the SAVAGE CRAIC!
